Need a place to buy snacks, produce, sushi, and more? Luckily for you, I know a place called Berkeley Bowl. Whenever, my family is in the area, we stop by this supermarket and cafe to grab some food. One of my all time favorite treats Berkeley Bowl serves is the lemon bar. They are tangy and have a classical crust on the bottom. Another pastry I like is the Italian cannoli. With cream, chocolate chips, pistachios, and topped with powdered sugar, it's hard to resist the temptation to eat it. Plus, there's many more little treats, such as donuts, tarts, and cream puffs. It's hard to wrap this post up because Berkeley Bowl is so awesome in a way that I can't describe. I have an idea! Just go there and see for yourself. :) Don't forget to tell me about later.

A small boy swallowed some coins and was sent to the hospital. When his parents asked the doctor how the boy was, the doctor said " No change yet."
Don't forget to tell me what your favorite joke was. Until next time! Let me just start off by saying that this restaurant is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. First of all, the restaurant I'm referring to is Kitchen of Alameda. If you ever visit Alameda's finest restaurant, I recommend you order the crab with rice. Not only is the crab tasty, but also the rice is infused with flavor from garlic, salt, and more. I just couldn't get enough of it. Another dish Kitchen of Alameda serves is the duck noodle soup. It doesn't get better than this, with their tender duck and delectable noodles all put into a bowl. To sum it up, Kitchen of Alameda is a excellent restaurant and has 4.7 stars from me.
![]() Ever heard of a restaurant by the waterside that serves marvelous noodles with soup and other dishes? If you haven't, I'll tell you that it is Pho Viet. Pho Viet is a Vietnamese restaurant that's specialty dishes are noodle dishes. These dishes range from noodles with soup to dry noodles with chicken. Their soups' flavors are spot on and their noodles are well cooked. Some other dishes include crab cakes, spring rolls, and clay rice bowl. To sum it up, Pho Viet would earn 4.3 stars from me. ![]() Today's Thursday, so you know what that means, Cooking for Life. During this class, we were taught on how to make three different types of hummus, the regular, grilled onion, and roasted red pepper hummus. The ingredients for the original hummus are:
Mmm. Blondies, I've always loved them. I consider them brownie's evil twin. :) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 13x9x2 inch baking pan with foil.
As for the ingredients for the blondie:
Melt butter and sugar in a saucepan. Cool slightly. Then, stir in eggs(one at a time) and vanilla. After that, add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and baking soda. Mix in the chocolate and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. The other day, I held the door open for a clown. I thought it was a nice jester. The Cute Diner's Brunch Award goes to... Mary's Place. Mary's Place is the absolute best place to eat breakfast and brunch. Let me tell you about a few dishes that stood out to me. First of all, a spectacular brunch dish is the Belgian waffle. Personally, I love waffles, with their fluffy inside, topped with sweet syrup. Another dish Mary's Place serves is the well seasoned pork chops. They are a must get if you go to this restaurant. Just to throw some more brunch dishes out there, there's omelets, crepes, eggs, and much more. Overall, I would give Mary's Place 4.5 stars. |
