If you haven't eaten at Tommy's Bistro, then you haven't lived. Tommy's Bistro is a perfect representation of Chinese food. To start off, who doesn't like a good bowl of fried rice. Well, Tommy's Bistro serves pineapple fried rice and many more. As a matter of fact, this dish isn't served on a proper piece of dishware. It's served inside a hollowed out pineapple. This dish isn't called pineapple fried rice for anything! In addition to that, their mango chicken is the best chicken dish I've had in a long time. With each bite of the tender chicken, you receive a taste of mango. If you come to this restaurant expecting miraculous food, you have to order the Hong Kong styled noodles. This dish is crispy noodles that become soft when it meets the sauce drizzled on it. Therefore, these noodles have two different textures, making it quite enjoyable. All in all, Tommy's Bistro is a must go place if you ever visit San Rafael.

With breakfast, lunch, and crepes, Crepevine is the restaurant to go with your family or friends. This restaurant has a wide variety of food, whether it be a crepe, pancake or omelette. First of all, I would be considered a brunch loving gal by many people, so I tried the French toast and the Scottish oatmeal pancakes. The French toast is really scrumptious, especially with a drizzle of syrup. Also, the Scottish oatmeal is a really awesome dish. The oatmeal makes it even more enjoyable. It was like a flavor party in my mouth. In addition to that, I developed two favorite types of crepes, sweet and savory. The savory crepe is called the Thai crepe. It consists of shrimp, chicken, mushrooms, and some more flavors to give a Thai taste. This delicious crepe came with potatoes and greens at the side. To satisfy my sweet tooth, I ordered the tri-berry dessert crepe, which had strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. It even came with Nutella and on the side, a scoop of ice cream. With all this great brunch food, Crepevine deserves the 4.8 stars given from me.
One extraordinary, never gets old type of restaurant is Ping's. Ping's is a Chinese restaurant that serves authentic dishes like fried rice and noodles. For starters, I really like the ginger and scallion lamb. The lamb is tender and the ginger and scallions are a great companion. Plus, the sweet and sour pork(the left picture) has amazing flavor. A spoonful of fried rice and that pork is just the best. Something you must try is the crispy noodles. They're crispy but after being drenched in sauce, it's silky. The dish is like half and half. This Chinese dish is sooo good, especially with shrimp. To conclude, Ping's is a 4.3 star restaurant that serves food that satisfies my stomach. Some people's noses and feet are built backwards. Their noses run, whereas their feet smell.
Find another pun here next Monday! What restaurant serves the absolute best dim sum with seafood, porridge, little treats, and more? The answer is the one and only Saigon. To begin with, Saigon serves amazing dishes on carts. Employees push carts with food and go to each table to give some to you if you want it. A dish I really like is the shumai, a type of Chinese dumpling. I would also recommend the taro bun because it is really soft with a sweet taro surprise inside. Also, the shrimp cheong fun is really good. With shrimp, rice noodles, and well, soy sauce, this dish is one of my family's favorite. In addition to that, you have to order the crab claw cake. It's a fried ball of shrimp meat with crab meat and a claw in the middle. (It tastes even better with some soy sauce.) Lastly, just to list a few more dim sum treats, the sticky rice, porridge, egg puffs, and roasted duck are all customer favorites. To "dim sum" it up, Saigon is a marvelous restaurant with an assortment of food and flavors.
