The CIA events are an amazing way to give back to the community and directly interact with the people we're helping. I loved baking for the events and educating the community about our cause. For the Troops bake sale, I made shortbread cookies decorated with chocolate. They were pretty popular. I can't believe that the cookies I made ended up helping the troops. The time I spent baking and selling them was definitely worth it.
In honor of veteran's day, we are working with the rotary to make care packages for the troops. To raise money to buy products for the care packages, we hosted bake sales.
Thank you to all the students who helped bake treats and work the bake sale!
