Someone just told me that Santa has a riverfront house in Brazil. No wonder all our presents came from Amazon last year!

Here's a special treat to all the meat lovers. I recently discovered a wonderful barbecue place, in Petaluma, called Lombardi's BBQ. This first dish we ordered was the smokin chicken sandwich. Along with the amazing bread, the tender chicken also had its own share of tastiness. The smokin chicken isn't the only sandwich that stood out. This other sandwich made me really 'pig out', hence it's name pig out. The pork was slathered with delicious sauce, which made it all the more awesome. Don't worry, there are many other meat related things to try besides sandwiches. When I think of barbecue, there has to be some steak. Therefore, we also ordered some succulent tri tip slices. Don't forget to dip it in their bbq sauce! As a matter of fact, oysters are also essential in barbecues. Luckily, Lombardi's oysters are flavored sooo well. Butter and basil, is there a better combination? With all this fabulous food, Lombardi's BBQ is a great place to embrace your inner meat lover.
I don't trust stairs. They're always up to something.
Hehe, until next time! Mamma Mia! Mulberry Street Pizzeria sure serves some awesome dishes. Firstly, one of my all time favorite dishes is lasagna and when I saw the menu, I definitely wanted that. It was pretty good, especially the marinara. I really enjoyed have some of that with every bite. In fact, the marinara made another appearance in the spaghetti with meatballs. This dish brought me to Italy. Also, the meatballs were fabulous and a great size. Thirdly, you're probably wondering where the pizza is in this post and here it is! A flavor that seems pretty popular is the cheese and grilled chicken. Just one bite and I was in blown away. Overall, I would rate Mulberry Street Pizzeria 4 stars because of the amazing homemade food. What I'm craving these days are plain American styled brunch, so I thought to myself "Self, where can you get the best brunch without driving too far?" The answer was obvious, Eduardo's! To begin with, I love a good pancake so I like to order the raspberry pancakes very often. The pancakes are nice and fluffy, and not to mention that the raspberry leave a berrylicous taste in your mouth. Plus, you have to try the American special. This all American dish has scrambled eggs, toast, and fruit as 'the cherry on top' of all the other things. Lastly, the lunch combo of half a sandwich and soup may not fit brunch but it sure is fabulous. We got the chicken lemon soup and it was lemony and creamy. The sandwich part was the Felipe's Special. The best part of this sandwich is that it's on a homemade herb bread. All in all, I enjoyed my visit to Eduardo's and look forward to the many more visits in the near future.
What's the definition of a will? (Oh come on, it's a dead giveaway!)
This restaurant puts the savory in it's name and in cause you didn't know, I'm talking about Savory Orient. To start off, the lemongrass chicken and spring rolls are a great lunch combo that they serve. The chicken was tender and had a magnificent flavor to it. As for the spring rolls, the vegetables were alright but the crispy covering made it all the more enjoyable. In addition to that, this dish of Korean beef and Thai chicken satay defines the word savory! With awesome Korean seasoning and the grill flavors, the Korean beef made me want to eat more and more. Also, The Thai chicken satay is one of the best things to eat on a stick. Pairing it with the peanut sauce is even better. The only thing that was not so savory about this restaurant is their Alaskan cod. It was literally a frozen fish stick. Therefore, there was no flavor or really anything in the dish whatsoever. To conclude, Savory Orient has many wonderful dishes that will please you, even after you finished it.
I tried talking about the future but he kept bring up the past. it was a tense conversation.
As a family of four, my family love going to dim sum restaurants, like Hong Kong Lounge for the great prices and of course, the fabulous food. Before anything, I should tell you that this restaurant is really really popular, so get there earlier. You don't want to spend a lot of time looking at other people eat food! So the first dish I want to talk about is the shrimp noodle rolls. Every time we go to a dim sum place, we have to order it because it's one of my absolute favorite dishes in the whole dim sum world(especially since it has shrimp). The thing that holds this whole dish together is the soy sauce. it's sweet but not too sweet and full of flavor. I would lick all the soy sauce off the plate if it was polite! Another dish I enjoy is the crab meat ball. It has a wonderful texture, a crispy exterior and a tender inside. For the littler ones, it's fun to take the crab claw out and play with it(just beware the pointy end). In addition to that, the pork shrimp siu mai has been eaten by me since I was just a tiny kid. I've never gotten tired of it. Plus, a lot of people love Hong Kong Lounge's egg puffs. It's kinda hard to describe it because there's a lot going on, in a good way. I guess I could say it's fluffy and the sugar on it is an added bonus. To "dim sum" it up, I would give Hong Kong Loung a 4.3 star rating for the good service, awesome price, and the best dim sum. A relief map shows where the bathrooms are.
Lol, hope you enjoyed your Labor Day break! |
