After another successful morning in Disneyland filled with walking and waiting, we were soon once again hungry. This was our third day in Disneyland (technically second day because we spent the first day in CA Adventure Park) and I had already crossed off most of the items on my Disneyland Food Bucket List. All that was left was the Matterhorn Macaroon, but that will be in a later post. :) However, we had just gotten off Splash Mountain, which is super fun by the way, and were nowhere near the cafe that served these macaroons. Conveniently located near Splash Mountain was a restaurant called Harbour Galley, so we decided to eat lunch there. It was a pretty good choice, too. The dish I ordered was the lobster roll. When I visited Boston a couple years back and one of the few things that I remembered from the trip was Boston's perfect lobster rolls. They popped in my mind as I read Harbour Galley's menu. As a result, I decided to try their lobster roll. It wasn't as delicious as the ones from Boston, but they were still enjoyable. The other things we ordered from the restaurant was clam chowder and the roast beef salad. I felt that the clam chowder was good, just not worth talking about it. On the other hand, the roast beef salad was a marvelous combination of thinly sliced beef and vegetables. My sister ordered this, in hopes of trying to eat a little more healthier in Disney. I think that a salad could be very refreshing to your taste buds, compared to the other kinds of food you might eat at Disney. Therefore, I suggest trying to eat a salad at least once during your visit and your body will thanks you. ;) All in all, wonderful and tasty are two of many words that I would use to describe Harbour Galley.

So our first day in Disneyland was coming to an end and we had to conclude the day with a fabulous dinner. We decided to go to Carnation Cafe. The line there was long(as expected), but the food was definitely worth the wait. Since I was in Disneyland, I decided to go a little out of my comfort zone and order meatloaf. Now, I have never tried meatloaf before, but I've heard that meatloaves get a bad rep from kids. Nevertheless, I ordered it and I LOVED it. I honestly don't know why a lot of people don't like meatloaf. Carnation Cafe's meatloaf was very moist and packed with flavor. I'm that kind of person who eats a little of everything on their plate with each bite. So I would cut some meatloaf and pair that with some mashed potatoes and it was heaven in a mouthful. As for the other food that my family ordered, it was also amazing. The chicken-fried chicken had a crispy exterior and was tender on the inside. There really can't be anything wrong with fried chicken so... :P In addition, my sister asked for the sour dough bacon cheese melt. Wow, while writing this post, it now dawns on me that we ate really unhealthy when we were at Disney... But that's okay, because the last time I visited the happiest place on earth was 10 years ago for the 50th anniversary, so #yolo. Anyways, to sum it up, Carnation Cafe is another great restaurant that helps make your trip to Disney a little better and definitely more delicious.
