I'm enjoying this trend where you can customize your burrito/sandwich/pizza. At MOD, it's customizable pizzas or salads. It's super nice to choose exactly what you want on your pizza. MOD does offer popular premade combinations but I always like to make my own. You can choose as many toppings as you want. They have a wide assortment of protein, veggies, and sauces. There's something for everyone, even the pickiest of eaters. Once you choose your toppings, they'll put it into the pizza oven and bake it to perfection for you. The crust is thin and crisp, and once the cheese melts and combines with everything, it's super yummy.

strawberry matcha latte

I visited recently during COVID and they only were serving a certain amount of drinks. Luckily, they were still offering the strawberry matcha latte. This drink is amazing! The combination of earthy matcha and sweet strawberry is a winner. And the boba is nice and chewy. Everything about this drink is magnificent, from the flavors to its aesthetic. Would recommend!

Looking for KFC or kimbap? The food at Aria will definitely satisfy those cravings. I ordered the Combo A, which comes with 10 pieces korean fried chicken (KFC) and 10 pieces gangjung fried chicken (GFC) and two rolls of beef bulgogi kimbap. This combo is a delicious feast! Perfect for a group of 3-4.

I really enjoyed the GFC because it was coated in sauce. You can choose between the sweet and spicy or the garlic soy. I chose the garlic soy for the GFC and it was mouthwateringly good. The outside of the chicken still held most of its crisp even after being put in a take out container and being coated in sauce. The nice crunch of the outside with the sweet sauce and tender chicken was just the best. The KFC was also yummy, just not coated in sauce. I chose a dipping sauce of sweet and spicy for the KFC and it was a perfect combo of hot and sweet.

As for the kimbap, the bulgogi was nicely flavored and there was a lot of pieces to share with everyone. I also ordered an extra of the veggie kimbap which comes with fish cake. That was also very yummy.

The takeout I got from Aria met and exceeded my expectations. I'm already fantasizing about their fried chicken and kimbap so I will be coming back to order the combo A again and again.

Pan Fried Dumplings @ Newark, CA

If a restaurant names itself after a dish, I would hope that the dish is really delicious. And in this restaurant called Pan Fried Dumplings, their signature dish definitely lived up to the expectation. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. These pan fried dumplings will change your life. I mean it. It is the amazing baby of two proud parents: pan fried buns and xiao long bao. It has a fluffy bun texture encased luscious meat filling. The bottom is fried nicely and it will melt in your mouth. Then to top it all off, each dumpling has rich meaty broth inside, reminiscent of the juices in a xiao long bao. Are you hungry yet? Good, go ahead and order it.

If you want to order some other dishes to make a whole meal out of your trip (which you definitely should), the beef noodle soup was amazing, with a good amount of beef and a soup that was flavored nicely. The beef wrap was also good- it had 8 large pieces, but I do wish the scallion pancake was more crispy in the middle.

To sum it up, please visit here and order the pan fried buns. You really need to try them for yourself to experience the cornucopia of flavor and texture.

I was so glad that Amy's opened in Marin! Amy's sells vegetarian meals that will satisfy your cravings. I love 'The Amy' which is a double veggie patty burger. It's very flavorful and will fill you up. Since everything is made fresh there, the burger tasted even better since it was warm. I also ordered a side of sweet potatoes fries because I can never resist them. They were delicious as well. I will definitely be coming back here often to get my veggie burger fix.
