After another successful morning in Disneyland filled with walking and waiting, we were soon once again hungry. This was our third day in Disneyland (technically second day because we spent the first day in CA Adventure Park) and I had already crossed off most of the items on my Disneyland Food Bucket List. All that was left was the Matterhorn Macaroon, but that will be in a later post. :) However, we had just gotten off Splash Mountain, which is super fun by the way, and were nowhere near the cafe that served these macaroons. Conveniently located near Splash Mountain was a restaurant called Harbour Galley, so we decided to eat lunch there. It was a pretty good choice, too. The dish I ordered was the lobster roll. When I visited Boston a couple years back and one of the few things that I remembered from the trip was Boston's perfect lobster rolls. They popped in my mind as I read Harbour Galley's menu. As a result, I decided to try their lobster roll. It wasn't as delicious as the ones from Boston, but they were still enjoyable. The other things we ordered from the restaurant was clam chowder and the roast beef salad. I felt that the clam chowder was good, just not worth talking about it. On the other hand, the roast beef salad was a marvelous combination of thinly sliced beef and vegetables. My sister ordered this, in hopes of trying to eat a little more healthier in Disney. I think that a salad could be very refreshing to your taste buds, compared to the other kinds of food you might eat at Disney. Therefore, I suggest trying to eat a salad at least once during your visit and your body will thanks you. ;) All in all, wonderful and tasty are two of many words that I would use to describe Harbour Galley.
