Everyone's heard of San Francisco's famous Boudin, with its famous sourdough and clam chowder. Here's the even better part. There's an awesome Boudin near me now, in San Rafael. First of all, I ordered the unbelievably big bowl of clam chowder(my fav) with a turkey avocado sandwich. I thought the sandwich was small compared to the soup, but the clam chowder still filled me up. On a totally related note, if you aren't that hungry or have a little kid with you, the turkey sandwich is great for that. It even comes with a cookie and who doesn't like that?! Lastly, for ya'll watching your weight, a salad with a bread bowl is perfect. Just don't eat all the bread. :) With all these wonderful dishes, Boudin is THE place to be, whether or not you're in SF or San Rafael.
