For the ingredients, you'll need:
- One 9 inch baked pastry shell
- 1/2 cup of lime juice
- 3 egg yolks
- One 14 ounce can of condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon of grated lime peel
- 3 tablespoons of water
- A few drops of green food coloring (optional)
In a medium bowl, whisk 3 egg yolks together. Then, gradually add in the condensed milk. Stir until smooth. After that, add in the rest of the ingredients, but put the food coloring last. Pour the filling into the pie crust and bake for 25 minutes.
