Ooey gooey pecan goodness. It's everything you would ever want for dessert... in hand held form. If you usually make pecan pie for the holidays, try switching it up with pecan pie bars. The crust is different from a pie crust but still consists of crumbles of buttery goodness. Who could say no to that? To make these delicious treats, you'll need: Crust:
Before anything, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Start off by combining all the ingredients you need for the crust. Incorporate until crumbly texture and press it into a square pan lined with foil. Bake the crust for 20 minutes. While the crust is baking away, heat up a pot and put in the pecan pie topping ingredients. After the mixture simmers for a minute, put the pecans into the pot. When the caramel and pecans are well incorporated, pour that yumminess on top of the crust and bake for another 20 minutes.
