You can't visit Taiwan without eating their famous fried pork chops. To make the most of my Taiwan experience, I decided to try Pinnada's pork chops and I was very happy I did.
I ordered the traditional pork chop. The pork chop was veryyyyyy yummy. The exterior was crispy and the interior was super tender. I gobbled the dish up. Any dish from Pinnada comes with tons of other little dishes too. My favorite out of them is the steamed egg. The steamed egg is as tender and soft as an egg can be. I loved it. Also, I thought the salad was a smart addition to the meal. It was refreshing to eat after eating all that fried stuff. Plus, the sesame dressing was amazing. The dressing made me eat all of the salad. The other small dishes the pork chop came with were rice and miso soup. Those two were still good, just not outstanding.
My sister ordered the pork chop stuffed with mochi and cheese. Don't worry the mochi and cheese are together in one pork chop. There's four mochi and two cheese pork chops as seen in the picture below. The cheese pork chop was interesting... and not necessarily in a good way. The mochi was better than the pork chop, but still didn't taste the best. After we all finished our pork chops, we ordered two desserts, sesame ice cream and pudding. I liked the sesame ice cream the best. It had a very unique and mouth watering flavor. All in all, the next time you're craving some friend pork chops and decadent sesame ice cream, I recommend Pinnada.
