Our Disneyland trip was coming to an end sadly. Before we left for the airport, we decided to visit Roscoe's House of Chicken'n'Waffles for their famous dish. I looked over their menu and I don't think I've ever seen so many different variations of chicken and waffles. In the end, I decided to order the Carol C special, which is chicken breast with waffles. The Jeanne Jones omelette and chicken thighs with waffles were the other two dishes we ordered. The wait was a little long, but I would bet it was because the restaurant was packed. When the dishes came, I was sooooo happy. It smelled delicious and it looked even better. The waffles were very fluffy. The chicken's battered outside was crispy and aromatic and the inside was tender. It was a wonderful combination. 1 slice of waffles with some maple syrup and a piece of chicken is heaven. I love combining all the food on my plate into my bite. I guess that's what you're supposed to do with chicken and waffles but I do that with everything. Surprisingly, my sister ordered an omelette, not fried chicken. I guess she knew that she could steal some of ours. Her omelette was deliciously cheesy and contained chicken from what I saw. To sum it up, Roscoe's House of Chicken'n'Waffles is certainly the best place for chicken and waffles in you're ever in the area.
