Most of the people at the Taipei Train Station is not even there for a train ride. They're there for the food. Taipei Train Station has tons of delicious restaurants ranging from tepanyaki to noodles. One eatery that everyone is lining up for though is Uncle Tetsu's Japanese cheesecake. First of all, you can see them making it right on the spot. It's guaranteed fresh and it adds a lot to it's incredible flavor. Now, forget everything you know about cheesecake because this is unlike any that I've every had before. It's a souffle cheesecake, light and airy, in contrast to dense New York cheesecake. Every bite of this souffle cheesecake melted in my mouth and left me wanting more. It's an extraordinary thing, this cheesecake, so don't miss it. Just follow the smell of freshly baked cheesecake.
